Welcome Welcome Welcome to Sing Along Club!

Here at Sing Along Club, each month we all take a specified song, run off into our corners and record ourselves singing along with it, and then throw them into the melting pot, where they are mixed together into a communal anthem of the month.

All are welcome to throw their metaphorical hat into the metaphorical ring — You don't even have to be a member of LiveJournal. And if you'd just like to sit by and enjoy the before-and-after that will inevitably result, that's cool too.




    Some Notes From The Management

  • It's really is crucial that your vocals are a capella (i.e. of your voice and your voice ONLY). Do it like the professionals, and sing along to the track while listening through your headphones.

  • As long as the sound quality is okay (few mic pops/distortion/other yuck), no worries about what format your file is in.
    I'll probably be able to find a way to read it.

  • Harmonizing is okay, if that's what you'd really like to do.
    If you're going to be so bold, however, I'd like to recommend that you sing along with whatever harmonies may already exist on the original track, or else you will stand out in a bad way and you'll sound funny when mixed in with the rest of us.
    I'd hate to have to edit bits of you out just because you decided to be musically brave.

  • As they say in High School Musical, we're all in this together.
    If you're at all reluctant or self-conscious about the way you sing, don't be.
    I'm going to do my best to mix the track in such a way that everyone can be heard without anyone standing out, in the interest of fairness.
    I, [info]turkeyanne, will be the only one to hear your voice alone, and I promise you will only be appreciated, never judged.
